Welcome to smcarnal's Educational blog
Hello everyone,
My name is Shannon Carnal. I am an education student at Columbia College. I am nearing the end and will be receiving my certification after I student teach in August 2016. I was expecting to be done after student teaching in January, but life happened and I had to make some changes.
I will be a first time mom in 5 days or less, as I am expecting my daughter Harper to make her debut any day now!
Even though I say I will be a first time mom, I guess that isn't 100% correct. I am also a stepmother to three kids! We just recently got full custody of all three of them, so my world has been rocked, but in a fabulous way!
I can't wait to see what all I am able to accomplish as a wife, mother, student, and educator.

Hello Shannon-
ReplyDeleteIt is nice to meet you and I am excited about your new arrival. We will student teach at the same time.
You have a busy world! It is nice to meet you and I hope we get to see baby Harper next week!
ReplyDeleteI know that "life happened" and you have to postpone your student teaching but I am SO GLAD that you did and I know you won't regret it. Harper won't be small forever and you will love having this time with her! I am excited to be able to learn alongside you this season, again. Can't wait to see pictures of Harper and update us! Please, if you need any help with classes this session, feel free to email me. I will be glad to help you out.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on all of those accomplishments. I know that you will do great at all of these goals. I have recently adopted a new mantra..."It won't be perfect, but it's going to be okay!" There are a few times in life that we really do have to enjoy the "okay" seasons. We just may look back and realize, those were really the "perfect" seasons. I look forward to sharing this educational journey with you and the rest of our EDU 338 crew!
ReplyDeleteTerrill, I love your mantra and I'm going to share it with a friend of mine who desperately needs this! Thank you!
DeleteI'm so happy for you Momma! Keep your head up and we can get through this together
ReplyDeleteSuch exciting news! Hoping for a fast recovery and look long forward to hearing all your first with you new bundle of joy!
